Michael's Feedback

Michael is an excellent tutor! Extremely friendly, humble, compassionate and goes above and beyond to help my homeschooled daughter with her GCSE maths online, as she is doing them a year early. Michael sends me her homework after every session with the answers so we can see what she is doing well in and what needs more focus. Michael is a dedicated tutor and is worth his weight in gold. I honestly cannot praise him enough! My daughter's confidence in maths has majorly increased since working with him and she's very happy. A student is a reflection of their tutor, and Michael genuinely wants to see his students thrive and do well.

Excellent. Makes full use of the time. Goes through things step by step from where I am at. Very clear teaching with plenty of time given to make sure I grasp.

I recommend very strongly to never move on until there is a good understanding of 'why'.- not just accept the method. Michael is excellent at explaining and being very patient with what feel to me at times like the most stupid blocks on understanfing.

It feels like Michael is missing nothing (but do ask those questions which he will answer very fully in different ways till it 'clicks'). He will then move on. He is always patient to go backwards too. I can tell that Michael knows exactly where he is going and how to get there - of course! He is starting me at the very start. He is Phd!!

Tutor messed me about considerably, and I did not feel he was very keen/able to teach me even though I had been quite specific about my requirements from the start. Suggested I get lessons from his friend instead but unfortunately have not heard from this 'friend'.
Very disappointed, waste of my time and money.

After two unsuccessful Maths tutors we feel very lucky to have found Michael and can't recommend him highly enough.
He is not only exceptionally good at tutoring but also very inspiring and humble.
We do however believe he is under charging and feel he is short changing himself.
