My aim is to develop attainment, confidence and independence in learning through engaging, personalised and purposeful lessons.
I have a calm and patient approach to teaching where I encourage children to take pride in their work and develop a growth mindset.
I enjoy football, visiting national parks and reading.
I am a qualified teacher and have 3 years experience of teaching KS1. Prior to my teacher training, I worked in a special school for a year providing support for ASD children. Throughout my teaching career, I have supported a range of SEND children and I am particularly confident and experienced in supporting those with ASD and vision loss.
I am particularly enthusiastic and experienced in teaching early reading, writing and mathematics.
I am a qualified teacher and have had experience of teaching a range of ability levels. I understand barriers to learning and ensure that my lessons meet the needs of all children. I also ensure that each lesson is well prepared and structured with individual lesson plans as well as a personalised approach.
