Hey I'm Michael, I'm an easy going relaxed guy who has always loved being creative and designing. 3 children has taught me to be patient and understanding and have sympathy in the fact everyone learns at different rates.
I have been employed since I left university in 1999 and have worked in a number of industries based in design departments. In 2006 I set up my own design business working part time, evenings and weekends, from home. Currently I work for a small automotive testing company as their lead engineer.
Since I set up my own business in 2006, I was approached by a number of companies and individuals to help train them in the use of CAD. Given my vast experience using CAD I am able to assist with all levels from the first time user in the basics to help them understand the importance of key elements in the CAD packages to very advanced users in areas such as surface modelling, sheet metal design, exporting of data like BOMs, CFD and many other areas of the software.
I like to think I take an easy going approach to teaching and tutoring. This most likely comes from my 3 children being home schooled, allowing me to realise that the best way someone can learn is when they enjoy what they are doing. Everyone learns at different rates so I cater for that in my tutoring to allow the tutee to gain as much as possible from each lesson.
