Dear Sir or Madam,
I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Spanish Studies from the Autonomous University in Madrid (Spain), and I have experience in both child minding and tutoring bilingual children (mainly Italo-Spanish), in bilingual customer service and administrative work, in organising cultural and social activities.
During my university studies I learned to work with computers and I am advanced user of the Windows operating system, the Microsoft Office Suite(PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Outlook Express, and Internet browsers.
I am a hard worker, I am able to adapt to new circumstances and situations with ease, an I am very enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills and knowledge.
I have experience in working with children while I was studying at the university (5 years). I would take care of the children and help them with their homework. In addition, I worked as Spanish Tutor and Human Rights Volunteer at Logroño School in El-Aaiún (Western Sahara) with children too. Also, I have experience in teaching Spanish to foreign adults in Spain and Morocco (Cervantes Institute).
At the moment, I am working as nanny/Spanish teacher for a lovely British family with a gorgeous 4 years old girl, I am teaching her and her mum Spanish language (I can provide references).
My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in Spanish language, my approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible.
