ONLINE TUTORING AVAILABLE AT ALL LEVELS DUE TO COVID-19
I have a very strong science background and have experience in tutoring over several years. I have a PhD in Reproductive Immunology from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. I have also obtained a BSc degree in Immunology at the University of Glasgow in 2008, where I was awarded a 2:1.
I currently work in the field of science communication as a science writer, and have had two books published on Amazon Kindle. Due to the nature of my work, I am very flexible with when I am available to tutor, and I am able to tutor during weekdays and after school.
I was part of a tutoring programme at the Royal Veterinary College for 2 years, where I tutored undergraduate students weekly on a range of science subjects, as well as providing general advice on the university experience. I have also been tutoring privately since January 2012, which I have greatly enjoyed.
I believe that all students need to be tutored differently, in a manner best suited to their way of learning. I am very friendly and approachable, and would encourage the student to ask me questions to aid in their education. I would also be available to answer questions out of hours if required. If necessary, I am also willing to drive to areas not immediately accessible by public transport.
