I am a qualified Teacher of Secondary English and I also have extensive experience in theatre and in designing and presenting study-skills workshops. I am particularly interested in the mind and brain and I am currently working towards an MSc in Neuroscience and Education, studying how education can be improved through neuroscience and psychology.
I'm currently working as a tutor, with students ranging from Primary, through GCSE and A level to Undergraduate. Before this, I taught in Secondary school and Further Education colleges. I have also taught Study Skills to students, teachers and parents all over the U.K.
I believe that every student can learn how to learn more effectively. Learning should be fun and fulfilling, leading students to develop their curiosity and wide-ranging skills and knowledge which not only enable them to pass exams, but empower them to keep learning and growing, ultimately helping them towards a more satisfying and interesting life.
