I am an enthusiastic English student studying at undergraduate level at King's College London. I have always been extremely passionate about the subject and greatly enjoy discussing literature with others. I took my English A Level one year early and got an A*.
I currently tutor 4 students a week ranging from ages 12 to 16 and was involved in a tutoring programme at secondary school. I tutored at Best Learning Support for 9 months, teaching children ranging from ages 4 to 16.
As I was recently in secondary school I am able to communicate with students in a way that they can relate to. I seek to modify each lesson to the student's needs, as I firmly believe there is no 'one size fits all' approach when it comes to learning. However, I will also ensure that he/she is fully versed in exam technique and thoroughly familiar with the relevant syllabus. Finally, I believe that the student can only gain as much from the lesson as I put in, therefore I am committed to planning and preparing each session meticulously.
