Megan

Hello, I'm Megan. I have just completed my Masters degree in Psychology, specialising in Neuroscience at the University of York. My dissertation used Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to investigate familiar face processing networks in participants who had seen 'Game of Thrones'. I begin my PhD at the University of Leeds in September, investgating smoking cessation in those with severe mental illness.

I have been fortunate to take part in cutting-edge Psychology research, providing me with great empirical skills. I'm passionate about data analysis using my own datasets, being proficient in SPSS, Excel and R.

Tutoring Experience

At university, I spent my spare time helping others to grasp statistics and understand lecture content. My enthusiasm for Psychology and relaxed attitude enabled my peers to fully grasp the content.

I am able to teach GCSE, A-Level or University level Psychology and help you with any queries you might have!

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to enable everyone to reach their full potential. I believe science, and statistics, are for everyone. I take a laid-back but supportive approach to motivate the student.
