I am a friendly Maths teacher. I have 3 degrees in maths and statistics B.Sc Maths and Computer applications, MSc in pure maths and Statistics and qualified PGCE 11-18+ maths from Sussex university.

I Have tutoring experience for over 10 years.

I have a wide knowledge and experience in state schools and private sector as well as international curriculum as KS3,GCSE, IGCSE, A level maths, Foundation degree for pure maths 1,2 and Business Maths and 11+,13+ common entrance.

Along side my current job, maths teacher and KS3 intervention coordinator in a state funded school, I work for Edexcel exam board as an expert examiner.
I taught in state/private schools and colleges since 1998 , I have excellent experience in teaching 11+ , 13+ , GCSE/IGCSE, A Level, University Foundation PM1 and Business Maths as well as Statistics modules.
I am also an assessment associate for Pearson and edexcel iGCSE and GCSE examinations and A2 (Alevel) expert level.

I am also a mother of two and would care about children’s education as much as I care about my own.

Tutoring Approach

I have experience in one to one tutoring over 20 years with great feedback and excellent success rate.

I offer notebooks and textbooks for our sessions. Students are required to bring their maths books and equipments to their lessons so we can use all the resources we have.

I use Zoom and and interactive writing tablet with whiteboard and notebook.

Teaching for exam boards Edexcel , AQA, Cambridge CIE.

I am also an Assessment Associates IGCSE/NewGCSE MATHS for Edexcel exam board.

Alongside one-to-one home visit tuition, I offer online tuition one-to-one basis via zoom.

I often assign tasks between lessons for extra practice and closing the gap.

Terms and conditions:

I prefer my tutees to travel to me but I can also arrange to travel to my tutees. With current situation online lessons are preferred.
I am happy to travel upto 4 miles, But in this case travel expenses and parking charges are added and agreed. Please communicate this prior obtaining details.

I work term time but also work during half terms and summer holidays. But your compulsory commitment as a tutee is term time otherwise agreed.

Payments: monthly payment upfront.

Cancellations:

If you agree booking and for any illness or family commitment reasons you wish to cancel a lesson, a minimum 48 hours notice is required With full pay and no charges applied outside 48 hours.
However if I cancel a lesson I will try to offer alternative slot where possible so learning is not missed. Also if you wish to cancel in advance prior to the 48 hours,

In the case of traffic or colds or coughs due to covid conditions I offer online sessions as an alternative to cancellations.

Please do not attend face-to-face if you have symptoms of cold or cough. Instead contact me to arrange an online session.

Lessons are blocked booked per month; payment should be received at the start of each month.

Personal information are not shared and kept safe due to GDPR.

During exam periods I will try to accommodate your requirements but the cancellation policy still apply.

If more than one session cancelled consecutively even outside 48h period I will be charging 100% for recurrent cancellations.
