Matthew has been a fantastic tutor to my son and has gone well beyond his duty of helping him with his course work. Matthew got to understand my son’s weaknesses and has been a great mentor, helping him increase his confidence and improve his work ethics. We feel very fortunate to have found Matthew and recommend him without reservation!

Matthew has been an excellent maths tutor for my son over the last few months. He is very personable and communicates well with a 15 year old teenager who would rather be doing something else. His explanations are clear and he ensures that the student understands at each stage. He ensures that the work he does is in line with what student is doing at school by reviewing test results and workbooks and identifying where the student needs most support. He is patient and reliable and my son has said that he is better than any of his other teachers at school. That says it all. Thank you Matt.

Our son had four hours tuition with Matthew prior to his AS maths/mechanics. He found the sessions very helpful, going through exam questions and increasing his confidence. He felt Matthew explained the subject very well. He went into his exams with increased confidence and thinks they went well!
If he continues to A2 we would certainly use Matthew again.

Matthew is always punctual and well-prepared. He quickly developed a good rapport with our son and is good at explaining new concepts and revising those already covered. He has boosted James' confidence and restored his enthusiasm for Maths!

Matthew has been a good tutor to my daughter who was studying for her Maths GCSE. Having a one to one tutor was helpful as it made her understand some areas she was finding more difficult. Matthew had a calming influence and was patient, ensuring that she understood what he taught. He would also challenge her to think about how to get to the answer. It was also beneficial to have homework set which helped her to use this as part of her revision plan. I would definitely recommend using Matthew in the future.

We chose Matt to help our daughter with her Maths IGCSE (Core) after having a not so good experience with a previous tutor. We only had three weeks with Matt in which to help prepare for her exams and, bearing in mind that we took him on at the eleventh hour, he truly did a stellar job at imparting a vast amount of knowledge in a very short time. His enthusiasm for the subject is second to none and, although my daughter isn't best enamoured with Maths he managed to increase her potential 'marks' exponentially. Well done Matt and thankyou so much from both of us!

Matthew has been a godsend for us. My daughter feels so much more confident in her maths ability now.Very patient and easy to get along with. Have only been with him for the last month and can see the improvement already with my daughters maths.Would happily reccommend to anyone.
