Graduating from Cambridge University, June 2013, with a degree in English (M.A. awarded Jan 2017), excellent subject knowledge is a strength that I can readily draw upon.
Studying at one of the most famous and highly rated Universities in the world, I gained In-depth knowledge of western literature: its history; its growth; its place in the development of the English language.
Through regular CPD I continue to progress and grow in my profession.
Since September 2014, to present, I have been teaching English at St Ivo Secondary School, the largest state maintained secondary school in Cambridgeshire.
From September 2013 to August 2014, I Trained as an English Teacher at Saffron Walden County High School.
Working at a school rated ‘outstanding’ in all areas by OFSTED, I had the opportunity to train, under the Schools Direct (salaried) programme, achieving QTS, within an exceptional teaching and learning environment. I also teach Classical Civilisation at both A level and GCSE.
Teaching English to key stages 3, 4 and 5, I draw on my excellent subject knowledge and create engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students of all abilities.
