I am a Russian native speaker born in Uzbekistan (former USSR). I have been living in Tunbridge Wells since 2005. I currently work as a teacher in special educational needs school in Tunbridge Wells. I teach English, Maths, Russian, Life & Living Skills and other subjects depending on my timetable which varies every year. I have taught students of all ages from primary to FE (further education) as well as mature students.
I graduated from Pedagogical Bukhara State University (1987-1992) with a qualification as Russian Language and Russian Literature Teacher. I taught Russian from 1992 to 2000. My CPD as EFL (English as Foreign Language) Teacher was completed in Chico State University (California, USA, 2005). I taught English as a foreign language in Uzbekistan from 2000 to 2005. I have been delighted to complete Recognition Route to QTLS while working in school at Tunbridge Well as LSA (learning support assistant) and became a Teacher in 2014. As part of SEN CPD training I had completed Dyslexia course (2015) and PGCE in Autism with Bath Spa University (2016-2017).
My experience in SEN school and excessive training helped me to teach the most reluctant students in a fun and active learning environment. I use Jolly Phonics, Mental Arithmetic (Japanese Abacus), Easy Timetables, Improving Handwriting in my lessons as well as subject teaching.
All teaching materials will be customised to suit your needs. I can provide a teaching plan to meet your goals at a pace that suits you, whether you are a beginner, or working towards exams accreditation , planning a holiday or a business trip to Russia.
