I have always loved playing, writing and performing music. I have played a lot of festivals, gigs and weddings in both originals and covers bands and enjoy it immensely. Any musician will tell you the feeling of playing your favourite songs to a crowd of people going crazy is one you can't really compare to much else!
I am currently in a 6-piece funk/soul/motown covers band, playing all over the North West. The remainder of my time is usually spent teaching 1 to 1 lessons or teaching group ukulele lessons at primary schools across Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
I am a professional music performer and teacher with five years' experience teaching guitar and ukulele, and over 7 years' performing festivals and weddings across the UK. I have a wealth of experience, and a proper understanding on how to tailor each lesson to the individual. I also have over a years' experience teaching groups of primary school students across the North West.
My teaching method is to always encourage an open and creative learning environment for all my students, both in groups and one-to-one, where the only two goals are to work towards clear, concise goals, and of course, having fun in the process.
Whatever your goals are for learning an instrument, and whatever your skill level, having a teacher that can offer productive feedback and personalised advice will give you a better foundation for learning and improving.
