I am a friendly, enthusiastic & patient teacher with excellent subject knowledge across all Key Stages including A level mathematics covering Years 12 and 13.

I also specialise in teaching Computer Science and Python computer programming for GCSE students.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified and very experienced teacher of Mathematics and Computer Science with 20 years teaching experience in a variety of secondary schools. Currently, I work as a head of department in a successful West Yorkshire grammar school.

I have been graded as an outstanding teacher and I have extensive experience of teaching all key stages from years 7 to 13 and this includes teaching both the foundation and higher specifications for the 1-9 GCSE specification. I can also teach year 12 and 13 mathematics.

Tutoring Approach

Friendly one to one style built up over years of teaching & tutoring experience. Lessons tailored to the needs of each individual student will ensure rapid progress and an increase in confidence. Currently teaching in a Secondary School allows me to be fully up to date with recent changes to the school curriculum and the latest exam specifications. I provide all printed tutoring materials free of charge.
