I am a seasoned, professional maths tutor with thirteen years teaching experience. I hold a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the 'Polytechnion' (National Technical University of Athens) the preeminent technological research institute of Greece. I was born in Melbourne Australia and grew up in Athens - I recently relocated to London to further my career.
I have thirteen years experience in teaching Mathematics. For eight years I taught high school mathematics (ages 12-18) in Athens, including for the Greek national university entrance examinations, and for the last five years I have been tutoring in London. The majority of my work has been in private tuition, though in Athens I have taught classes of up to 10 students at a highly regarded private school specialising in mathematics and physics tuition. Our pupils were drawn mainly from highly ranked state schools and such international schools as The Arsakeio, Athens College, Lycée Franco Hellénique Athénes, and Pierce American College of Greece. In London my pupils have attended Colet Court, Norland Place, Emanuel, Queen's Gate, Marymount, Whitgift and Godolphin.
I am particularly strong in effectively communicating mathematical principles in an engaging manner, and in forming motivational relationships with pupils of all abilities.
I thoroughly enjoy helping young people to recognise their potential through distinguishing themselves in a highly competitive subject.
