My name is Margot, I am 24 and I am a French PhD student in Naval Architecture at the university of Glasgow. I have been living in the U.K for more than six years (Farnham for a year, Southampton for one year and Glasgow for four years).
I am very mature, serious, trustworthy, patient, calm and energetic and I get on well with people especially, with children.
I love sports (especially football, kayaking and sailing) but also reading and listening to music.
I have experience taking care of children from 7 month old to 12 years old children and I have been working with children for more than six years now being a babysitter, a nanny, a French tutor, an au pair but also a summer organiser. Some of the families I was working for as a babysitter/ nanny were asking me to speak French to their kids or to teach them French.
Last academic year, I also worked as a teaching assistant on Saturday mornings for a French school (Ecole buissonniere) in Glasgow. The children in the school were between 3 and 12 years old. Some of them were fluent in French (their parents were speaking French to them everyday) while others were not. My role was mainly to help the different teachers so the children could improve their capacities in a friendly environment with French native speakers.
I would love to share my culture to kids. My aim is to work in a friendly environment so the kids could enjoy learning a new language. I am really creative and usually find games to help them to learn my mother tang language.
