Craft and Design
I am a practicing artist who has shown both nationally and internationally.
I have won several prestigious awards in Britain and Japan. My experience in all mediums is extensive also including theoretical studies. My academic training includes BA (hons) in Sculpture and MA Fine Art and Critical Theory.
I currently teach at the **Removed By Admin**, on the Art and Design Foundation Course.
My key experience is in Adult Education, although I have a great deal of experience in undergraduate teaching of all ages and abilities. My speciality is in portfolio development, helping students identify a pathway in the Visual Arts, which will enable them to gain entry to Degree, Diploma, or a related career within this field.
My Tutoring is focused on the needs and aspirations of the individual learner.
This usually means an informal meeting to discuss and identify how the portfolio can be developed in order to express a strong commitment to the subject decision. This will include Observational Drawing, 2D & 3D Manipulation, Documentation, Theory, and Sketch-Book Work. Also advice with UCAS applications.
