I have an MA in Comparative Literature and a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education. I specialise in working with students who lack confidence. I have experience of working with students with complex needs, including those with ADHD and autism. Along with preparing my students thoroughly for their exams, I believe in giving my students a good grounding in the subject and developing their study skills. In my spare time I enjoy writing poetry.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 20 years' teaching experience. I have set up and delivered GCSE English classes in various settings such as Kent Adult Education Service and specialist providers such as Bore Place and SupaJam. I have a strong understanding of the exam board requirements for GCSE English. I have also taught creative writing for adults. I am experienced in delivering individualised programmes to home educated students. I have successfully prepared students for entrance exams to the private schools in the area, including Sevenoaks School.
