1st class degree in Mathematics and MSc in Statistics at University of Warwick. Currently working as a statistician where i have to explain mathematical ideas to non-technical clients.
Looking to gain teaching experience by becoming a tutor.
I once was failing mathematics at GCSE but after learning in my own way I began to get really excited by the idea of mathematics and I now want to help others do the same.
Each student learns in their own ways and I think that it is important to always ask the student if they understand key concepts and ask them to show they know it too.
Mathematics looks daunting to many people but I want to teach it in a simplistic and approachable way. Rather than using a one size fits all approach, I try to gauge the student's strengths and weaknesses and tailor a program to help maximise their potential for exam preparation.
