Personal Description:

Having pursued English Literature at Queen Mary University of London, it is clear that I have chosen to channel my love of English Literature through further study of the field. I am a driven, ambitious individual who seeks to excel in all the challenges I set for myself. I am dedicated and passionate about what I study and what I teach, but most importantly, I am an amicable individual who is ready to accommodate for the needs of my tutee. I believe that education should be a pleasant experience and therefore endeavour in making my lessons both productive and enjoyable. Having achieves excellent grades throughout my time in education, I intend to help my tutees achieve the same success.

Tutoring Experience:

I have successfully taught students of all levels and abilities, ranging from primary school to A Levels, at home, online and at local schools over the past four years. My tutorials take place online, which has proven to be a new and successful medium for both teaching and learning. The use of an interactive whiteboard and video call has proved to be both convenient and cost effective, also allowing me, as a tutor, to give students access to a huge wealth of materials online.

In the past few years, I have tutored English GCSE and A Level students, who all went on to achieve A* grades in their exams and coursework. I have studied Arabic for 7 years and taught at local schools and tuition centres.

I have also helped many students with their UCAS applications, assisting them in securing their place at the university of their choice!

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tuition involves initially discussing the areas in which tutees need extra support. I will suggest a range of tasks and activities to establish a good understanding of the topics tutee's may find difficult. As the exam period draws near, I focus on exam skills and strategies that will secure success in the examination. I also keep a report to track the progress of students throughout the course of the tutoring period. Ultimately, ensuring that my students are comfortable, able to ask questions, and achieve their absolute best, is my priority.
