I'm passionate about teaching and learning.
I always do my best and my pupils do too.
We all learn how to get better at everything we do.
I enjoy gardening and researching my family tree.
I even help adults research their family trees too.
Sometimes my own children show me how to do something better.
I've been teaching for 27 years in primary schools. Presently, I enjoy teaching part time in a local school.
I have qualified teacher status and can teach all primary subjects.
I've had experience teaching all ages, personalities and abilities.
I've been tutoring Maths and English for four years. I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd like to do more.
Before embarking on tutoring, I took advantage of the courses for One to One tutors which provided me with even more ideas for games and activities.
We all have favourite learning styles. I aim to find yours, as well as your skills and interests.
We all learn best when we are having fun. You will never feel under pressure, I'll join in with the activity.
Sometimes we will play competitive games. Will you be able to beat the tutor?
On other occasions, I'll have found an interactive game online for you to practise your skills.
I like to help you get excited about reading and writing by using your favourite authors or interests.
I have an excellent knowledge of Key Stage 1 and 2 Maths, English and Science and have helped prepare many children for their next step in education.
Let me boost your confidence!
