I am an outstanding primary teacher with significant experience in KS2. I have been teaching for 10 years all within the UK curriculum and have a number of years experience tutoring for the 11+ and other international entrance exams.
I am currently leading teaching and learning at my school as a member of the senior leadership team and a class teacher in year 5.
Throughout my career I have worked with many different children with varying abilities and I pride myself on being creative, enthusiastic and progress driven in order to help any child achieve their best.
I qualified as an outstanding teacher in 2014, specialising in Special Educational Needs, this has helped me to adapt and adjust my sessions to help any child understand new concepts. Since qualifying I have been a full time KS2 teacher and have lead teaching in learning in two schools, including my current school. I have a proven record of delivering outstanding teaching with many children making accelerated progress. I have also had experience in mentoring teachers as well as curriculum guidance and year group leadership - all testaments to my success in enabling all children to learn.
I have high expectations of my students but I also understand what it is to struggle with some aspects of learning. I pride myself on understanding where each child may have misconceptions and unpicking these to pave the way for them to achieve their potential.
