Hello! My name is Louise and I have over 10 years teaching experience working with individuals, groups and whole classes across the primary age range. Personally, I am a mother of two young boys myself whom love to explore and enjoy new places and experiences. I like to travel, socialise and try new things when the chance arises.
I am currently entering my 11th year of teaching, where I have had the opportunity to work across the primary age range. I have a particular passion for helping children develop and secure their early learning skills as well as working with those children whom for whatever reason lack confidence and enthusiasm towards learning. I have substantial experience working with younger children as well as those with Special Educational Needs (for which I hold additional Postgraduate qualifications) but have previous tutoring and teaching experience supporting pupils approaching their end of Key Stage SATs tests (both Key Stage 1 and 2) including the new style KS2 SATs papers.
I firmly believe that tutoring relies on positive relations between the tutor, tutee and their families. My approach revolves around taking on board the tutees likes and interests as well as identifying their strengths and needs to ensure personalised sessions that aim to develop learning and confidence.
