I am a practising Clinical Psychologist working both within the NHS and privately. I have published research in the field of eating disorders. My areas of interest include paediatric psychology, attachment, eating disorders, mental health, cognitive-behavioural therapy, youth offending, research methodology and design (including both ethics and research funding submissions), and statistical analysis.
I have taught at undergraduate level in research methods and delieverd specialist lectures in the areas of cognitive-behavioural therapy and eating disorders. I also provide ongoing training and teaching to professional colleagues (e.g. nurses, doctors, social workers, mental health workers etc) on all aspects of applied psychology.
My teaching style is pragmatic and underpinned by a typically methodical, analytical and critical approach to subjects.
