Hello, I am a Primary School teacher with six years of experience. I have decided to go into tutoring after having a child and am currently unable to teach full time. I love teaching and I find supporting children to learn and progress extremely rewarding. I am very excited at the prospect of being able to spend time with a child on a 1:1 basis and help them to develop in a subject they need support in. I live in East Brighton but have a car and am willing to travel to you. I am available from July 23rd (2018) onwards.
I am a Primary School teacher, I have taught primarily in the Early Years as well as Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, I enjoy teaching all age groups. I have also taught in a school for children with Special Needs with my own class of children with social and communication difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Condition.
My approach to teaching is fun and playful with clear learning goals. I have a kind and gentle manner whilst remaining firm but fair in terms of expectations on behaviour and completing work. I enjoy spending time with children and I hope that they enjoy spending time with me. I have a very positive approach and believe children gain a lot of satisfaction and learn the most when they are reminded about what they can do and what they could achieve.
