I am a graduate in Spanish studies and am a fully qualified Spanish teacher at Secondary level. I have always had an interest in languages and have been studying them from the age of 10. I am self-motivated, enthusiastic and extremely reliable. I am friendly and have a genuine interest in helping people to learn and progress. More importantly, having learnt a language myself, I have the patience and empathy required to teach those wishing to do the same.
I have been learning Spanish for over 10 years, gaining a GCSE, A level and degree, as well as living on the south coast of Spain for a year, allowing me to gain essential and extensive knowledge of the language. I have a PostGraduate Certificate in Education (Secondary Spanish) and have experience teaching up to KS4 at secondary schools in the UK.
In addition, I am also a qualified EFL teacher and have experience teaching EFL to people of all ages from juniors to adults as well as various levels from elementary to advanced.
Furthermore, I am available to aid those wishing to take FCE (first certificate English) as I have extensive knowledge of the current revised exam and the requirements needed to pass.
I am extremely flexible and have experience working with people of all ages and abilities. Being a qualified teacher means that I have had the training and experience of using a variety of teaching styles and working with different types of learners. Upon agreement of tutoring you will be required to fill out a form which will indicate what you are expecting, which in turn will allow me to cater for your individual needs.
