I am 27 years old and I currently work with supporting homeless people in Fareham. I have a degree in English Literature and Criminology with the Open University. I have a passion for literature and the English language in general. In particular I like poetry and exploring the different ways words can be used and played around with. I really enjoy reading, in particular crime novels and biographies.
I have tutored two students so far, both of which were successful in their GCSE's and achieved their desired grade. I have also volunteered teaching English as a foreign language to adults in the refugee camp in France. I am efficient, so any work you do for me will be marked and returned within a couple of days of receiving it. I am patient, encouraging and love to see others succeed so if I could help you reach your full potential I will be very happy.
I will assess what your strengths and weaknesses are and build on these. I will regularly set you work that will challenge you and give you positive feedback and constructively tell you areas you could improve on. I encourage questions no matter how silly or irrelevant you think they may be and if I do not know the answer I promise to find out and tell you as soon as possible. I will also welcome any feedback you may have on my tutoring and will improve any aspects of my teaching that you deem necessary.
