English (Foreign Language)
I am an enthusiastic tutor at Warwick University and lecteur at the Sorbonne university in Paris. I studied English and French at Warwick as an undergraduate, during which time I spent a year in the French Alps, in a city called Grenoble. I currently live in Paris, but enjoy travelling to Europe and beyond!
I am currently available to tutor via Skype. My standard rate is £25 p/h.
I have experience with teaching English language and literature classes to students from GCSE level to university students, and am an experienced language tutor for all levels of language learning. I have taught students with learning difficulties and also offer proof-reading.
My approach to teaching is based on the individual, and lessons with me are personalised to suit the strengths and weaknesses of each student. Working together, we can adapt sessions to target areas of study that pose particular challenges to students in order to boost grades and create a more enthusiastic and interesting learning environment.

I have a lesson once a week for an hour and a half and feel that they are very beneficial. Within a matter of weeks I have managed to cover all of the main tenses (including the varying forms within each of these tenses) in detail.
Also I produced a written piece of work which contains idioms that are transferable into "everyday" French life.
I highly recommend Liam as a tutor as I have already begun to see a change in the quality of both my written and spoken French.
