I'm an experienced primary school teacher currently teaching Year 4 at Windmill Primary School in Headington, Oxford. As a result of my sport background, I love making teaching as interactive and fun as possible to make a tutoring session something children actually look forward to as opposed to seeing it as more school.
Get in touch and I can come and have a chat about your requirements at no cost.
I've been teaching in primary schools for nearly ten years and have taught across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. As well as teaching in the classroom, I have tutored for many years too. I really enjoy the one to one or small group setting as it allows you to personalise the learning according to the child.
In addition to teaching in a primary school, I teach maths one day per week to disadvantaged children from Key Stage 3 & 4.
With a sport background, I love to make learning fun and enjoyable using a mix of kinaesthetic, aural and visual techniques.
I've got a really flexible approach and can tailor my sessions according to the pupil. They can run concurrently alongside what's being taught at school or we can work on sharpening up other skills. Totally up to you!
