I believe my approach works as I am the current holder of Tutor of the Year for my educational establishment as voted for by the students. I consider it important to understand what the tutee consideres are the areas for development. I am prepared to develop sessions and activities to develop and reinforce knowledge. I am happy to prepare for exams and will work through past paper exercises, giving guidance and support understanding the key elements of questions and how best to answer them. I can give support with regards to coursework and assignment preparation. I will set homework if both the tutee and parent/guardian consider this suitable. I would also be prepared to run 'mock' exams if this was another method. I will be prepared to answers queries outside of the tutee's sessions. I will also place emphasise on supporting basic skills such as spelling and grammar. In summary, I am a flexible tutor, placing the individuals requirements at the heart of any session as every student requires different support and I will work through a structured plan from the outset so the tutee and guardians are confident in the service I am providing.

She's very clear with her teaching and gives excellent advice, tips and techniques to students on their studying
What also makes her an excellent tutor is that she really cares for her students, keeping track and setting plans before each tutusion to get the most out of it
Her support does not end just with tutoring as I can easily text her my questions and get a fast reply
Thanks to her great studying advice and note taking techniques I got an A on my war history exam.
