Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years previous tutoring experience. I have a very good record of grades improving, even within as little as three months. One student was estimated a D at GCSE maths, but after having tutored her for 6 months, she achieved an A in her GCSE.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring varies from student to student. I am always patient and always go at the student's own pace, whilst pushing them to reach their potential. A lot of the time students have problems with their confidence within a subject. When it comes to a lack of confidence practise makes perfect. I will often go through a topic with the student, doing practise questions together as we go. It is important for the student to see both good and bad examples of work so they know what to do when it comes to independent tasks.
