Information About Laura - Ringwood tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Laura:
Hi, I'm Laura. I have recently graduated from Bournemouth University with a first class honours degree in Sociology and Social Policy. After securing funding, I will be undertaking a PhD at Bournemouth University this September, to specialise in the sociology of community studies and politics. Therefore, I am able to provide 1:1 tuition for GCSE, AS Level/ A Level and Undergraduate.
Prior to my degree, I tutored in GCSE English for two years. I received extremely positive feedback and students loved my ability to think outside of the box with innovative teaching methods. Throughout my degree I held study sessions for fellow students. Equally, I have taught reading to adults with learning difficulties. I also undertook private tutoring for three university students on similar courses during the last two years of my degree, as each struggled with dyslexia.
I aim to offer a flexible teaching structure dependent on individual needs via webcam, at my residence or the students home. This could involve improving or enhancing your knowledge, overcoming barriers to understanding, essay planning or problem-solving for potential exam questions. In being dyspraxic myself, I understand the difficulties many students face and am sincerely dedicated in helping individuals to overcome these issues. I am willing to go the extra mile and will do whatever it takes! I also have experience working with dyslexic students. If you are after attention to detail and high grades, I am here to help; achieving all high 70s, 80s and 90s throughout my degree.
