I am currently working as a Data Analyst, primarily focused on machine learning.
I graduated with a first class honours from University College London (UCL), where I studied Mathematics with Economics.
I achieved an A* GCSE in Mathematics at the age of 13, going on to attain 9 additional GCSEs and an A*A*AA in A Levels (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computing respectively).
I have taught Mathematics and Computer Science (ranging from KS2 to A Level) throughout my time as a university undergraduate, and now wish to carry on helping tutees achieve their potential and set them up for their ideal career path.
My main strengths involve helping young students to conceptualise new ideas by relating abstract topics to real life situations and explaining them in a manner easily understandable.
I have received extensive training on how to best achieve this from other qualified tutors.
I believe the key to learning is to be practical and structured. Students will be working through lots of questions, allowing me to pick up on areas they struggle with. This allows for both the tutor and tutee to be on the same page and greatly increases the chance for retention of information. I recommend students to have a well thought-out timetable and can help them in developing one.
