I am a Lecturer of Mathematics at a local college, having previously been Assistant Director of Maths at a prestigious grammar school. I am known for my calm and supportive approach.
Being an experienced and successful teacher, I am able to explain concepts in ways students can understand and master. I have had a lot of positive feedback, and am up to date with current changes to Maths GCSE and A-Level.
In 2016-17, 100% of my GCSE students achieved 9-6. (including 2 students who achieved a 9, and one who achieved an 8)
In 2015-16, 100% of my GCSE students achieved A* to C.
My A-Level students have gone on to study at excellent universities and courses, including Medicine.

As well as this, I am currently completing a Masters on Mathematical Education at UCL.
I have been a full time teacher for over 7 years, and a Maths tutor for 8 years.I teach across all Secondary Key Stages, including GCSE and A-Level.
I am up to date with all the changes in the curriculum and new exams, and have been on courses to understand how students can be awarded full marks on questions. I am knowledgeable in most exam boards, including the new A-Level Edexcel and MEI OCR syllabus.

It's all about getting you a good grade and have a better understanding. I do this by making my sessions enjoyable, and explaining concepts in a way that is understood. I know a variety of different ways of explaining the same problem.
