I am the science tutor who will listen to your child and understand what help they need. I would not have survived a decade of working in secondary schools without being able to build relationships with young people. I have a vast toolbox of resources which I have adapted and personalised to the learners in front of me. When a young person struggles with science I can make the work accessible and work to revitalise the scientific curiosity they no doubt once had. When a young person has their heart set on a career as an engineer or doctor or astronaut I can provide the challenge they require to fulfil their potential. Whatever the starting point, I always try my best to inspire, motivate and be reliable.
I achieved a 2:1 honours degree and PGCE from Keele University. I have ten years experience as a science teacher in secondary schools. I teach biology, chemistry and physics from key stage three to GCSE. I teach mainly AQA but have also tutored iGCSE and OCR.
I offer small focused group tuition in three locations - Sandwell, Dudley and Birmingham offering competitive prices whilst receiving high quality tuition. There is a waiting list for September 2024 with a limit of five learners per session. Please get in touch to avoid disappointment.
I deliver personalised learning where resources are tailored to individual needs. The level of challenge is adjusted to the needs of the young person. I will always turn up full of energy with a smile on my face ready for another successful session.
