I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a Masters in Chemistry in 2014. I have since been working as a fully qualified Secondary school teacher in Science and Chemistry.

In my spare time I am a competitive athlete and enjoy taking my two dogs in on various adventures around the country.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified classroom teacher and have working as a fully qualified secondary chemistry teacher for the past 7 years.
I have tutored a wide range of secondary school pupils in Chemistry, Maths and Biology as well as a 2nd year Bioscience University student and many adult learners completing SWAP courses for their chemistry modules. I also have experience in coaching Olympic weightlifting and swim teaching.

Tutoring Approach

I understand that every student is different and will require different support. An explanation understood by one may not be understood by another. I am able to relay information in various forms to enable a wider understanding of the course materials. I also aim to develop a wide range of revision techniques which can be reapplied for any subject matter,

But most importantly - learning should be fun! As a result, I make the most of my upbeat and positive personality to motivate and encourage young people to achieve their full potential.
