I am currently a lecturer teaching special educational needs and social science. I have always loved learning which has developed into a passion for teaching. I truly believe that everyone can reach their potential and achieve, as long as they are taught and supported in the right way.
I have taught on a variety of courses including social science, community and youth work, nursing and children's workforce. I have also taught students on a one to one basis with study skills, research skills and English. As well as teaching, I advise other teaching professionals and educational institutions on disabilities. This includes how to be inclusive in teaching and how to make adjustments for disabled students so they can fully take part in education.
Each student is unique so my approach is to tailor make my teaching to suit each student. I try to use a variety of methods to keep learning interesting and enjoyable. So whether you are a visual, traditional, audio or creative learner we can work together to help you succeed.
