I'm available for online tuition via Google Classroom and Google Meet video conferencing for GCSE Computer Science, Python Programming and Guitar lessons. Spare electriç and acoustic guitars available. I'm also available for group / family guitar sessions during holidays and some weekends.

Music:
Guitar tutor and guitar repairer since 2011. Grade 6 Electric Guitar, Rock School. Worked as RGT tutor and Music Leader for Colston Hall Bristol, youth music. Ran family group music sessions. Own music business for 6 years working with schools and employment agencies. Awarded Winner of European Social Funds, supporting unemployed through music. Taught music as supply teacher KS2 to KS4.

Udemy courses for online training in Guitar Repair and Computer Programming (Python). Played in several bands in UK and USA, bass and electric (rhythm, lead and slide).

Played in many bands, taught by ex Showaddywaddy guitarist, played alongside Kermit of Black Grape, Rick Martinez of Hawkwind and the ex bassist for Robert Plant's Big Log solo album.

Computer Science:
I currently teach OCR J277 Computer Science, GCSE. Python Programming. Passed the GCSE Teacher Accelerated course for Computing, 96%. Exam Moderator from 2012 to 2022.

Tutoring Approach

I use a combination of practical and explanation as I recognize there's nothing more effective than 'having a go' to get it under your belt.

A sensitive, positive and encouraging approach at the right level for you, identifying the missing gaps and where you want or need to take the learning.
