Ken's Feedback

My daughter really enjoys her sessions with him. He's been extremely responsive in a stressful situation (the realisation that year 12 has gone off the rails - not an uncommon one unfortunately - and needs to be helped back on course swiftly) and taken the time to explain his methods and update me on her progress. He covers the unusual combination of my daughter's A level choices having agreed to start back up with RS tutoring for her although he has recently decided to focus on STEM. Plus he really gets my daughter's anxiety based self imposed limitations and is helping her to build her confidence back up after a dreadful year. He gets, and advocates, that this is not about a promise to improve by x grades but to build a love of learning again. It's early days but I feel positive for my daughter for the first time again in 9 months. Thanks, Ken!

Ken has been a wonderful Psychology tutor for my child who is doing A level this year - cheerful, patient and understanding and he made the lessons really interesting and lively. I am very grateful to him and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Ken has been a life saviour to date for Heather in offering a unique and fun learning strategy in Psychology. With A level exams being imminent and with struggling to understand some of the essay style questions, Ken has to date been key to her fantastic progress.

My daughter missed a year of the GCSE syllabus and is due to take her exams in 2023, we were very concerned that she would be in difficulty. Enter Ken, stage left :-) Now, after only 2 weeks of tutoring, not only are we confident she will pass with flying colours, our daughter is too! Ken is a breath of fresh air. His lessons are well prepared, teenage friendly and packed with content. Ken's passion for his subjects is infectious and focused, drawing in the listener. Thank you Ken.

My girls have enjoyed working with Ken over this summer. Although it was a short period, he made a great impact and the girls are keen to continue with Ken when able to.

I have been having online tutor meetings with Ken for the past six months. I do not follow A/levels through a school but study through a correspondence course. So to have a good tutor makes all the difference. Ken has been a fabulous tutor. He is knowledgeable when it comes to the subject (psychology) and knows to teach the material well. Ken also helps me learn new ways to memorize important facts. He is always enthusiastic. I feel like I'm really able to progress with Ken as my tutor and am very happy to have him as my support!

Ken is an excellent tutor who has helped me a lot with my psychology A level in such a short time. I was getting average grades, however, with the help of useful revision and recall techniques, and enjoyable classes, I was able to get A*’s in my recent tests. Thank you!

Ken has been extremely valuable in helping our daughter to enjoy maths and help her to feel more confident at attempting more challenging maths problems. The fun and passion he injects into his teaching has really helped her with her recall of maths in school. He’s been a huge help.

Ken is an excellent tutor and our daughter has gained so much confidence in her Maths ability from her lessons, also the consistency of being able to continue covering the curriculum over lockdown really saved us. The content of the lessons is excellent and exceeds what she’s learning at school.Ken is very approachable and adaptable and we highly recommend his services.

Ken recently started teaching my son who is in year 11 English Language and Literature. My son is very happy and satisfied with his teaching . He thinks Ken's method of teaching comes from a very strategic, targeted and experienced perspectives that you may not always find common in many other teachers.
It is still early days, but we are quite happy with him.
In addition, I personally think Ken is someone who is not after the money but mainly interested in developing people, otherwise, he would be charging more. If you read his profile, he travels to developing countries to contribute in developing their educational system. I hope to continue with his services when my son starts his sixth form.

My daughter finds his tuition thoroughly enjoyable.

We have had a number of tutors before and Ken is head and shoulders above the rest. We now have Ken teach our daughter Mathematics and also music to add to my son’s English lesson. It is obvious that Ken has a wealth of experience and he motivates both of my children to learn and focus. I could not be happier with Ken; a real tutor in my view and a teacher I would have liked to have taught me! (one of those!)
