I am fully qualified History teacher, however I also have LLB Law degree from University of Hertfordshire.
I have been educated in the UK for majority of my life and I currently teach with the education system. This being said, I am familiar with the national curriculum with regards to the History subject and I also have access to information on other subjects.
I am a firm believe in the saying 'Knowledge is Power'. In light of this, I don't just aim to teach students the content of the subject, but also knowing when and how to apply their knowledge accordingly. I believe in setting high expectations in order to for students to reach the maximum level of their attainment.
I am a History teacher at a secondary school in an area of North London within the London Boroughs of Haringey.
I have over 4 years teaching experience, ranging from KS3 to KS4 Level. In addition, I have also tutored A level Law students for a year. Furthermore, I have 3 years experience in working with SEN student focus and student with other learning difficulties.
I am extremely results driven and target all my students to push forward in their learning as we recite our positive daily pledge and waste no time in embarking on the learning journey.
I aim to inspire students to share the same passion that I hold for my subject. I believe if children/students enjoy a subject, they are more likely to do well in it.
As a historian, I believe that knowledge crucial to ensuring that we do not repeat the tragedies or mistakes of the past. This can be applied to all subjects and doctrines.
I am able to prepare students for their SATS and GCSE exams with the confidence of a successful grade, provided that students apply themselves aptly.
Student can expect to receive guidance and intervention with school work, homework and any further areas of their development.
