This is how 2 referees rated Kelly:
Hello, I am a 23 year old tutor happy to help students from KS3 up to GCSE and A Level standard. I graduated from The University of Nottingham with a Bsc (Hons) in Zoology, and went on to complete my Msc at The University of Reading. I grew up on a sheep farm and have always had a keen interest in the world around me. I have been fascinated with biology from a young age and have specialized towards ecology. I am now working in a sports shop to fund my conservation traineeship, which is helping me to gain more practical experience in the environmental sector.
I have also worked as a Divemaster, which is the first professional level of scuba diving. Here I acted as an assistant teacher and was responsible for the safety and learning of the students both above and below water, who could be as young as 10. This taught me a lot of patience and to approach new tasks slowly where necessary.
I am a very patient person. I struggled throughout school and had to work very hard to achieve the grades I did, and so understand what it is like to not understand. I think this has helped me to develop alternative methods to help remember things, and has allowed me to think outside the box. I firmly believe the tutee should feel comfortable enough to ask as many times as necessary until they understand something.
