About Keith:
A friendly, caring, natural ‘people’ person, who can relate to anyone, no matter what their background.
I can utilise my skill set of communication, patience, understanding, enthusiasm, intuition and commitment to the task in hand to achieve results with you.
Tutoring, or as I prefer to call it friendly support, should be engaging and fun.
Success is built upon confidence and, confidence is built upon mastering the task through whatever techniques or styles are appropriate for the individual pupil.
Your safety and comfort is paramount, which is why my location, that is within an apartment block offers the best of all worlds, though travel can be negotiated.

Tutoring Experience

Keith's Tutoring Experience:
I will be the first to admit, that my move into education, from a highly successful commercial career, has been one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences I’ve had to date, though I’ve been mentoring degree students for years.
Currently a volunteer, qualified level 3, Teaching Assistant at St. Peter's First School, Droitwich Spa, since 2012, where I work in partnership with the class Teacher, in the classroom, to deliver the curriculum in an innovative, supportive, creative and focussed manner.
I also work with pupils on a one to one basis, as well as taking groups of pupils who require extra support or assistance to master the topic for themselves.
Previous commercial career included (for those wanting a Business Tutor):
Ramada Enterprises, CHIEF EXECUTIVE 07-10
LS Group, CONSULTANT 04-06
PRD Fasteners Ltd., CHIEF EXECUTIVE 00-03
Harwood Welpac Ltd., MANAGING DIRECTOR 96-98

Tutoring Approach

Keith's Approach To Tutoring:
Everyone has the capacity to learn and succeed in our chosen areas as long as they can be stimulated by the pupil themselves and not through some form of peer pressure. This is particularly important for young people and adults, as help with defining self-direction can lead to significant improvements in motivation.
Finding the right stimulus for a pupil, for them to self-ignite their own willingness to learn and absorb, is hugely important.
We all need a 'helping hand' at some stage throughout our life, so please don't throw away the opportunities that will present themselves, just for the sake of asking for help.
Tutoring is all about building a trusting, focussed and supportive rapport between individuals and this is particularly important during the first few ‘meets and greets’.
