Information About Kathryn - Crickhowell tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Kathryn:
I have worked in the field of Special Needs even before I qualified as a Special Needs Teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed the 1:1 aspect, being able to focus solely on one child at a time and develop learning programmes specific to their needs. In the past few years after a career break to focus on my growing family and living abroad I wish to work with more flexibility. I have developed a small textile business and spend my spare time teaching sewing and making beautiful things.
I have over 9 years teaching experience in Special Needs, Sensory education and have specialised in Autism. I have been privileged to work with students from 4 to 19 years of age with a broad range of needs. I am experienced in developing and writing Individual Education Programmes and Positive Behaviour Management plans. I thoroughly enjoy the creative process of 'thinking outside the box' to ensure education is provided in a dynamic, appropriate and stimulating way to the individual.
I believe strongly in working with an individuals strengths in a positive and structured manner. Learning should be fun, stimulating and dynamic and I always strive to achieve this with the lessons I teach.
