I am a Civil and Highways engineer with a BSc Eng. degree. I have gained experience as a technical designer and a project manager, where I developed skills to achieve tasks in any environment or industry. As a project manager I strive to understand the different characters and personalities that we encounter and from this address each individual in the most effective way.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in teaching since high school, where I led tuition groups for younger classes. I also gave foundation classes in Mathematics and English to the children and parents of our charity school.
During my university years I was a tutor for Mathematics, surveying and civil/ highway engineering courses.
As a graduate, I continued to teach school and university level Mathematics and also continued to teach at the charity school when they had low teaching resources.
I spent one year mentoring and teaching young children with learning disabilities, and helping them discover what their talents are in order to create a sustainable life.
I continue to mentor, teach and help apprentices/ graduates in training to ensure they are well prepared for the engineering industry.

Tutoring Approach

I teach Mathematics and English for younger learners at the moment. I feel we achieved so much together through the process. Watching them learn, understand and discover the power of knowledge was inspiring.
As mentioned above, every student is different, meaning their learning styles are different. In order for a student to benefit completely, it is essential for me to understand their personality and learning styles and structure my teaching to suit.
I am efficient and realistic in goal setting but also challenging.
