Karl is a fantastic engaging and obviously experienced tutor. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed every lesson with him and rated him as one of her best and favourite tutors. He taught her essential details with regards to GCSE RS content, revision and exam technique to ensure she achieved a high grade 9 - which she did. We would highly recommend Karl - without hesitation.

We contacted Karl very late, but he was able to help our son make significant progress in just a few lessons. Karl was a very supportive teacher who even arranged a Zoom meeting with another of his student to build our son's confidence! Karl played a key role in our son's exam success.

Karl is very professional and thorough in his teaching and has communicated his teaching methods and plans clearly and concisely to both myself and my daughter. In a relatively short space of time my daughter's breadth and depth of understanding has improved and she is now much more engaged in the subject through her improved knowledge.
He takes time to discuss subject areas and to answer questions with reference to the relevant source materials bringing greater clarity.
I am very impressed and would happily recommend Karl as a tutor for other A Level RE students.

My son has only had a couple of lessons, but his experience with Karl has been very positive so far. He has been very punctual and he takes time to organise his lessons and provides reading material in advance of every lesson. Karl has identified Ken's weak areas and is working with him to improve these. We have been very happy with Karl so far and fully expect to see an improvement in Ken's grades with his help.

Karl home schooled my son from January 2016 to completion of the GCSE long and short courses for RS&P in May/June 2016. He had to cover the full course over a 5 month period in 3 hours per week with breaks for half term holidays. This was clearly challenging due to the syllabus demands but also the requirement to keep the interest of a teenager suffering from anxiety. Karl was brilliant and my son achieved A* for both courses and plans to do philosophy A level.

My daughter had Karl for the last few weeks for her GCSE exam . She disliked the subject so much that she put no effort in at school. With Karl she actually admitted that it was really interesting and enjoyed his lessons . He also had a very calming effect on her which helped her all round as she was very stressed and suffered panic attacks but she went through the whole exam period with no problems at all.

Karl is a first class RS teacher; not only he has excellent knowledge of the subject, but that his approach to children is encouraging and motivating. Since his tutoring, my sons have now found RS not a difficult subject at all and took the exam joyfully. Their results have improved a lot. I have no hesitation in recommending Karl.

Karl is a first-rate tutor in every respect. He knows his subject very well, he is a strong teacher who really cares about his pupils and, judging from his work with our son James, he understands how to challenge and stretch his students while keeping them motivated. We cannot recommend Karl highly enough.

I must say Karl is excellent RS teacher, his teaching technique is clear and detail make RS subject much confident. His personality is very nice, friendly and helpful for extra. Thanks a lot Karl and both my girl enjoy your lesson very much! Tks amy

Karl was brilliant with my son who has a short attention span. He is calm and patient, and has delivered detail and a feeling of achievement. A great find and I would recommend him.
