My qualifications include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in the Humanities, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. I have an Enhanced DBS check.
I have been a Head of Religious Studies for twenty years in both independent and state schools in west and central London. I have successfully prepared students for 13+ Entrance/Scholarship examinations for schools including Harrow, Westminster, St.Paul's, Merchant Taylors' and City of London. I have taught GCSE and A-level for over 10 years, successfully preparing students for GCSE Religious Studies and A-level Religious Studies examinations. I have taught and tutored the OCR, AQA and Eduqas specifications. I have also worked as an examiner of GCSE and A-level Religious Studies and attained Advanced Skills Teacher status.
I quickly inspire in students the desire and ability to achieve their full potential in Religious Studies examinations. I have excellent subject knowledge, plan every tuition session thoroughly, cater for different abilities and learning styles, use diagnostic marking to provide students with a clear sense of their achievements and targets and keep parents/carers fully informed about student progress.
