I teach GCSE and A level in Accounting, Business studies and Economics, along with GCSE Mandarin and all of the modules on the AAT course. I have worked in a private tutorial college for 32 years and also in further education in Brighton, Eastbourne and Worthing. I am a very dedicated and patient teacher and have always had very positive feedback from my students. I am passionate about teaching and work extremely hard to help students to succeed.
I have taught GCSE and A level courses to both large groups in higher education colleges and on a one to one tuition basis and have guided many students through their exams. I have also taught on professional courses such as the AAT and ACCA accounting courses, and have helped a number of my previous students through some of the Accounting modules that they were studying at university. For the past 5 years I have also been teaching GCSE Mandarin through one to one tuition.
My approach to teaching is student centred, I try to build student confidence in my subjects, and always give positive support. I am very experienced in one to one tuition and have a large quantity of resources that enable me to focus my teaching on any area or specific problems that an individual student may need help with, I guide students through the syllabus and help them with exam technique to enable them to understand how to achieve the most marks from their work.
