Ka Hou

great tutor but is advertised on the first tutors website as covering GSCE physics, which is not correct. only covers nat 5 which is a different curriculum and exam. first tutors have refused to refund our finders fee despite this blatant misrepresentation. i have reported this issue to Trading Standards.

their reply "I see that customer service staff looked into your complaint a few days ago. You paid for the tutor's contact details more than a year ago, you have had many lessons with the tutor since then. You left positive feedback for the tutor just a couple of days ago confirming he was a GREAT tutor. You are simply stating that in your opinion the tutor does not teach GCSE and for this you claim a refund 1 year after purchase. In accordance with our terms and conditions, our team confirmed that you do not qualify for a refund in this case because you have received the service you initially paid for.

It is not "my opinion" that he doesn't teach GCSE physics.

He told us directly that he doesn't.

I was told that I needed to submit a review in order to get our refund.

We are entitled to a refund of our finders fee.

My son has found Ka Hou's physics and chemistry tutorials very helpful in his preparation for National 5 exams. Ka Hou explains topics in detail making it easy for my son to understand. Ka Hou has excellent knowledge of the school curriculum and exam system as well as the subject matter. I am sure the tutorial will have a positive influence on my son's grades.

Ka is very polite and professionally conducts himself well. He is very knowledgeable in the chemistry curriculum regarding National 3-5. Ka is also very patient in his teaching and makes chemistry simple for my child to understand. My child is now confident in Chemistry, and I will recommend Ka to my friends looking for a chemistry teacher.
