I have always loved science. For me, it was always full of "eureka" moments and I endeavour to do the same for my students.
I am passionate about teaching and helping others. I love to see the spark in student's eyes when they truly understand something.
I have been teaching science in both independent and private sector for the last five years. I believe the purpose of education is not just about imparting a bunch of data but to inculcate an ability to think with the data.
I have been tutoring for the last five years in East Grinstead. I have tutored students for KS3, GCSE and A-level and all of the students have reported improved grades and better understanding.
I am an assistant examiner with Cambridge International Examinations and can help students with exam techniques.
The students who I tutored in A-level got into their desired university with really good grades.
First of all, I assess the level of the student. When that is done I find out the difficulties the student is having with the subject and then I address those difficulties by using simple step by step approach.
I firmly believe that every student is capable but they sometimes lack the tool to understanding. I help them by identifying their problems and encourage them to ask questions and gain practical knowledge. My focus is not just to help the student secure more marks but a full conceptual understanding of the subject. I do not believe in "spoon feeding" and try to develop the student's ability so that he can think with the information he/she receives.
