I love teaching. My pupils say that they enjoy my lessons and have gone on to achieve their best in the subjects that I have taught them. I started tutoring as a post graduate at the University of York and for the last 25 years I have taught in private and state schools. Throughout my career I have helped students to get into the best universities in the UK and America, including coaching them for successful entrance to Oxford and Cambridge.

Tutoring Experience

I am a teacher of 25 years experience in private, state schools, and at university. I have met the learning needs of pupils from the age of 9 to 19 - from those entering Oxbridge to those learning to read for the first time. I specialise in English, English Literature and the History of Art.
I have successfully taught younger dyslexic students to read and helped 8 - 12 year olds to improve their English reading, comprehension and writing for entrance to selective private schools.
